I took my mom out to get her some new makeup products as she was out of a lot of hers and let me tell you, we did some damage. Anyway, I picked up two products that I am excited about using and have been wanting to get my hands on for a while.
Smith’s Minted Rose Lip Balm
I had the Rosebud Salve from this brand (I’ve since used it up) and I really loved it, but I wanted to try the mint version because I love the scent and tingle of menthol. “A cult-favorite, minty, multipurpose lip balm to soothe dry lips and skin. Created especially for Sephora, this must-have lip balm calms and heals irritation, and soothes the sting of minor burns. Easy-to-use and versatile, dab it on chapped lips, elbows, or knees to condition and relieve dryness.” I’ve only just tried it, but so far it is just a really nice nice minty version of the Rosebud Salve.
Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation
I have never really tried the MUFE brand and I figured their smash-hit, cult-favorited product – the HD Invisible Cover Foundation – would be a good place to start. “An oil-free medium-to-full-coverage liquid foundation that covers skin imperfections flawlessly while remaining invisible on-screen and in real life. This foundation creates a soft-focus effect, which is designed to meet the coverage concerns of those in the spotlight. It leaves your complexion with such a flawless finish, it can withstand bright or harsh lighting.” I picked up the lightest shade they make, 110, which has the perfect pink undertone for my skin, though it is just a hair dark for me. One of the great things about this product is that there is a huge range of shades – 26! Anyway, I only just applied this an hour ago, but it looks pretty much natural and flawless. It honestly doesn’t look like I have anything on my face! This one is off to a good start!
I hope you all enjoyed this little haul! Let me know what you think of these products or if you’ve tried any new products recently!
