This is my new blog series, Appropriate Glam! This is basically posts that cover my idea of appropriate makeup and hair for certain events and places! Today I thought I would kick off the series with the gym! I know, we all try to avoid it, but we know we must do it, workout. This is my idea of gym beauty!
Bare Face: I think if you can feel comfortable with this, I think a clean, makeup free face looks the best! It shows confidence and it also prevents makeup from clogging your pores while you are getting sweaty and nasty.
Concealer: If you just have a few little spots that you would like to cover up, just do a dab of concealer where it is needed.
BB Cream/Tinted Moisturizer: If your skin is really to bad to go with no coverage, use a bb crea, or tinted moisturizer to even out the redness and provide some coverage.
Mascara: If you have very thin, short lashes you can do a light coat of mascara to give your lashes a boost.
Lip Balm: I consider wearing lip balm to be part of a bare face, because I just apply it with my moisturizer in the morning and at night. LIp balm prevents chapped, dry lips, which seem to be worsened by running or vigorous exercise.
Ponytail/Braid/Bun: I suggest any hairstyle that keeps your hair off of your neck and face. I also recommend using a headband to keep fly aways, bangs, etc. from getting in your eyes.
