Today I will be reviewing L’Oreal Magic Smooth Soufflé foundation. I have been using this foundation consistently for the past three months everyday.
I really love this foundation! I first bought it at Target at the very beginning of August before school. I needed a good foundation for school so I read some reviews and bought it the next day.
The coverage on this foundation is medium, not quite full coverage but still covers blemishes and imperfections flawlessly. It does a really good job of covering acne scarring and current breakouts. It can also double as concealer if you get a little bit more of the product on a concealer brush. The consistency is very creamy, almost like a mousse. I feel like this foundation is comparable to many of the higher end and department store foundations. I think that it is even better than Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse.
One thing to consider when buying this foundation is that it can be slightly drying, so make sure you have a great moisturizer if you have dry skin. However, if you have oily skin, this foundation has a very matte finish and will help control shine, but you still set it with a translucent loose powder.
Another thing to keep in mind is that L’Oreal Magic Smooth Soufflé doesn’t come in a huge variety of shades. I believe there are around 12 different shades to choose from, so if one doesn’t match perfectly, you can mix it with another shade to get your perfect tone. My perfect color is Creamy Natural. I go a little lighter or darker if necessary in the winter and summer months.
This foundation is around $12.00 depending where you buy it and is available in most drugstores. I highly recommend it!
