I’ve had my grandmother – I call her Mamaw – in town for the past ten days, so I apologize for the sparse posts. It just becomes difficult to balance everything and not overlook something. This week has felt like an eternity, but there were some definite up sides!
Winged Liner: I’ve been liking the cat eyes that I abandoned for the last year. The look is just so sexy and sophisticated – not to mention your makeup looks really done when you do it, even though it takes very little time.
Chai Tea: I’ve been starting my day with a chai tea “latte” that I make at home. I really just use a chai tea bag, a good splash of nonfat milk, and a Sweeten Low packet. I simply haven’t been craving the morning coffee like I was a few weeks ago. Besides, the tea is a nice change!
Drawing: Okay, more like doodling. I’ve had less than no attention span in classes this week, so I’ve been spending more time sketching people in my notebook. I have a weird obsession with drawing young, faceless women and turning it into an advertisement for the war. Like, what? I just write things like, “Are you willing to give up everything for the fight? Join the Order.” I have no idea why, but the drawing come out cool.
Handwriting: I’ve just been really enjoying handwriting things this week. I just like the feel of it. It’s rather quaint and timeless, which I like. It’s a nice break from typing and texting everything.
Robotics: Our robot is done! The competition is fast approaching and our robot is, admittedly, the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. Ever. So, naturally, we’re building another prototype because, you know, why not?
I hope you all had a wonderful week and enjoyed my favorites!
