Long time, no write! I have recently stumbled across what may be my favorite foundation to date: Sephora Teint Infusion Ethereal Natural Finish Foundation. It’s a gem in disguise, not well known, and yet completely fantastic. I was so pleasantly surprised by both the quality and quantity of this product and I’m jazzed as hell to share it with you! :)
This foundation comes with 0.67 oz for $24, which seems kind of like a rip off. I was skeptical —and quite used to the 1 oz norm in the foundation realm— and a little annoyed with the comparatively small quantity… until I realized how little is necessary for a flawless face. A few drops of the water-like foundation is plenty! Plus, there is a color for every skin tone and undertone! Bonus!
The consistency of this product is very wet and runny, which at first I found very vexing to say the least. It would dribble off my finger before I could even transfer it to my face, but I learned to move swiftly. The wet texture of the foundation makes it blend away into nothingness like a dream and keeps it from looking cake-y. It is so thin and silky!
The foundation has a natural, subtly dewy, finish that looks fantastic for the entire day. I live in Arizona, which means temperatures in the summer can spike well over 100˚, which is just not conducive to long-wearing makeup. Yet, I have no problem with this foundation slipping and sliding all over my face. I’ve worn this for exhausting school days, gym sweat sessions, and parties, and it never slips off. I don’t tend to set this with a powder because my skin doesn’t really require it (though if you’re oily I would recommend it) and because I enjoy the light and dewiness that this product brings to my skin. It’ll last a good eight hours without it, but I’ve worn it for longer periods of time with minimal touch up.
Coverage-wise this product is light-to-medium. It feels like there is nothing on my skin, but it evens it out beautifully. My skin is far from perfect (I am seldom without a few imperfections), but I reach for this over all the heavy, thick, full coverage foundations because it looks so much smoother and more natural. It conceals and evens, but it isn’t a product that allows for a pass on concealer unless its a rare good skin day.
Also, the packaging is super sleek —a pretty, lightly frosted glass bottle with a dropper that makes this super easy to dole out!
Overall, this is a great foundation that is quickly becoming the only one I’ll use! I highly recommend!
