This a list of my top five favorite makeup products of 2011! With 2012 right around the corner, I feel like this is a great time to share our holy grails! I tried to keep all of the products price conscious but some of them are a little bit pricey!
1. Revlon ColorStay Foundation with SoftFlex
This foundation is absolutely fantastic! The coverage is buildable from medium up to full coverage. There is a wide variety of colors too! This products does everything it promises; the color does stay on the entire day. I also love how there are normal/dry skin and combination/oily skin formulas. It is so much better than the one-size fits all method that most foundations use. Plus, as an added bonus there is SPF 6 in it. I am in the color 110 Ivory, so I am super pale! I am quite amazed they had a shade that is as light as my skin! Revlon also promises that I foundation will control shine and is oil-free, both of which are true! I am in LOVE with this foundation! It is truly amazing!

2. Covergirl LashBlast Volume Waterproof Mascara
This mascara is amazing! I am a firm believer in the fact that drugstore mascaras are BETTER than the high-end mascaras and are a fraction of the cost! I was a little skeptical of this mascara when I was looking at it in the store. The brush seemed clumsy and huge, the packaging was really bulky, and there were about 5 different formulas! But I picked up the original LashBlast in the waterproof variation. I always prefer waterproof mascaras because they stay on longer, don’t flake, and holds your lashes’s shape. When I tried this mascara for the frist time, I was awed! The formula was the perfect consistency and the brush coats every single eyelash evenly and cleanly. The brush is big, but I just takes a little bit of practice and then it becomes very easy. This mascara also styas on the entire day with no problem; but doesn’t need heavy-duty scrubbing to get off. I was also pleased by how long and thick my eyelashes looked! I really recommend this product!

3. Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Pink Frosting
I totally love this blush! I am really pale, so blush is a must. I picked a super bright pink. I dab this creamy blush on my apples are work it in. It gives you the perfect rosy glow. I find I need to apply it again about every four hours, but you have to do that with most blushes! This blush is highly pigmented and beautiful! There are around six different, gorgeous colors to choose from!

5. Essence Gel Eyeliner
This is an amazing gel eyeliner! Bobbi Brown eyeliner is about $22.00, but this inexpensive dupe is only about $2.00! I think this one of the best products I’ve tried in a long time! I use this on my upper lashline, lower lashline, tightline, and waterline. It is very versatile! My favorite color is the purple one, because my eyes are light and green. This eyeliner stays on the entire day with no trouble and is highly pigmented!
