So, I’ve been meaning to go to a dermatologist for months now, and I keep finding myself repelled by the exorbitant prices and the lack of availability, but recently I’ve seen advertisements and glowing reviews for companies like YoDerm, which allow you to video conference or take photos to send to a dermatologist, who reviews your skin and the information you provide and then prescribes medications and makes product recommendations and suggestions for you. I thought the concept was super interesting, and I think I may just give it a go.
If I do, I’ll post a review here and let you all know if I would recommend it. It appears to be significantly cheaper than a normal derm appointment would be $59 dollars instead of $300+) and it’s unquestionably more convenient.
So, have you or will you try an at-home dermatologist appointment?
I think I shall,
