There are many things that irk me. Starting with the word irk. But one of the things that makes me want to swing a baseball bat into a watermelon (as a result of my obvious and minimally-exaggerated anger) is people that think that you can skip washing your face in the morning. Oh my sweet Merlin! Really?! I can’t. I can’t even. Just… nope!
When we sleep (or should I say when everyone else except me sleep s- hello dark circles!), we are rolling around in the lovely dead skin cells that we shed (lovely) and we sweat regardless of how cold the room is because it a part of the normal human sleep cycle. So that beautiful glow that you wake up with in the horrificly evil time that we call morning, you know the one. Yeah, that glow is sweat! It isn’t the beauty sleep paying off, love. It’s sweat.
Now, picture this. You don’t wash your face in the morning. Then you apply your makeup. Saw-Whatever-Number-They’re-On! You are basically apply products that will trap the bacteria and sweat in your pores for the entire day. I can understand skipping the morning face cleansing session if you are literally running out the door because you overslept because there may or may not have been a Big Bang Theory marathon the night before, but it needs to be a habit of every person, not just girls, to wash their face in the moring and at night!
If nothing else, use a makeup-removing/facial-cleansing wipe. Please. It is a really quick step in your day that takes less than a minute and will result in happier, healthier, clearer skin.
