Here’s an odd thing. It’s daytime! I never write my posts during the day! I’m so proud of myself. I am currently sitting at the airport waiting for my flight (which is delayed) because there is a massive rainy dust storm swirling ominously around the airport (how is that for imagery!). So here I sit, with only my brother and WiFi for company. I thought it would be fun to share some of the recent events of my life with for no apparent reason. My brother and I are flying to Kansas to see our family from our father’s side for the next week, so please forgive me if my blog posts and videos are more sporadic. Sorry! But we haven’t seen any of our family for going on four years, so we really just wanted to visit.
So I turned sixteen a few days ago. Whoo? I didn’t really celebrate if we are being honest. I got up, grabbed a quick breakfast with my dad, read a book, and went to dinner. Strangely enough, I am not big on birthdays for whatever reason; perhaps I am practicing for my middle aged years? I don’t know. But it’s odd to be sixteen because to be honest, I don’t feel any different. I haven’t bothered to get my driver’s permit, let alone license, because in the spirit of all honesty, I simply don’t care. Driving doesn’t excite me. I know; I am a strange, strange person. Sue me! Well, actually don’t as I am also to lazy to deal with lawyers.
I went out to breakfast with my sister and her lovely fiancée and my brother this morning. I don’t honestly have much to say about this. I was just trying to make conversation. Now it’s all awkward so I am going to go.
