I’ve picked up a few goodies around town recently and I thought I’d share my newest additions with you!
I was in desperate need of a new body wash (as mine — Caress Endless Kiss Creamy Vanilla & Sandalwood Body Wash— was on its last leg), so I decided on a twofer pack of the Dove Go Fresh Cool Moisture Body Wash + Nutrium Moisture in the cucumber and green tea scent. That, I will say, is a ridiculously long name, but I wanted something fresh and invigorating. The comfort of vanilla is great in the fall and winter, but summer has swung in full force and I needed something a little more crisp.
I picked up the Degree Ultra Clear Deodorant in the pure clean scent because I was out of my old one and I’ve really liked this brand of deodorants for a while so, may as well stick with what works in this case!
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle is my all time favorite deep conditioner, even after trying the Macadamia one! I have been going to the gym pretty much every day and my hair is feeling the effects from the frequent washing, swimming, sweating, and summer heat. This is the perfect restorative, hydrating, softening product and it’s cheap as chips!
The Suave Naturals Conditioner in the almond and shea butter variety is a repurchase because I’ve just run out of it this morning, so I needed a replacement. I wrote an entire review of this (its old and I was new to blogging, so forgive the flaws of it) which you can read here.
I only picked up a handful of makeup items at Ulta on this run. I’ve really been trying to just use things up in my collection. I have found a lot of products that are HG status, and I just don’t need that many of one type of product.
I was completely out of my HG Rimmel Scandaleyes LycraFlex Mascara, so I decided I wanted to try a new one after four tubes of the aforementioned gem. I picked up the Covergirl Super Sizer on a whim (as in no mentions or reviews had been noticed on my part) and I will be reviewing this because I adore it. It’s tied with the Rimmel London mascara for sure.
I wanted a brighter pink lip liner to pair with bolder, summery, bright lips, so I grabbed the Rimmel London Exaggerate Lip Liner in the shade pure after hearing Essie Button talk about it. I’m still undecided on this product, but I’ll let you know!
My beloved NYX tinted brow gel broke and my brows were barren and sad, so I decided to give the Maybelline Define-A-Brow pencil a go (I bought the one for medium brown/light auburn brows, which is perfect for my rather odd hair color). The pencil is super fine, so filling my brows in takes a while, but I really like the comb on the end, the color is great, it stays in place, and I think I’ll enjoy using this.
The other thing I purchased at Ulta was more of an impulse buy than anything else, but I got the NUX Butter Gloss in the color peach cobbler. It’s a vibrant orangey coral, and I think I’m in love with the wonderful formula, but I don’t think the color suits my pale skin very well, so I may pass this one on to my sister.
I only bought one thing from Kiehl’s (I’ve never tried this brand), and I have really high hopes for it. My skin has been on a rampage recently, whether from stress, lots of working out, or another factor, and breakouts have been endless and ubiquitous. My usual routine just hasn’t been cutting it, so I decided to pick up the Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser for acne-prone skin. I’ve only used it once, so all I can say is that my face felt clean and it smells like eucalyptus and mint, which is really refreshing!
I hope you all enjoyed this haul and let me know if I mentioned a product you’d like to see a review on!
